HPE DL360 G10 Server Review
The HP ProLiant DL360 G10 server is generally designed and manufactured in two different chassis. SFF type designed to accommodate 8 2.5-inch hard drives and LFF type for four 3.5-inch hard drives. Usually, LFF type is used for businesses that need more data storage space. Due to the support of a large number of Intel Xeon Scalable family processor models, this server is placed in the category of mid-range servers and provides suitable upgradeable capabilities to the IT manager.
In terms of size, HPE ProLiant DL360 G10 is a single unit (1U) server. The storage drives are installed in front of it and usually this front panel has the role of air flow entry. On the front panel, the location of buttons, LEDs and USB and iLO connection ports is different based on the type of chassis. In the LFF chassis, the button panel is on the top, and in the SFF chassis, the button panel and ports are on the side.
There are two Hot-Plug power slots on the back panel, one of which can be used depending on the hardware used. Network connection ports, USB 3.0, serial and iLO are also present as usual on the back panel. If we remove the top cover of the server, we will find a complete motherboard with two Intel Scalable processor socket slots and 24 DDR4 RAM slots.
